Bring Your Whole
Community
to the Same Verse.
Sanskrit readers and Telugu readers. Traditionalists and newcomers. People in the hall and devotees joining from across the country. ChantWise puts everyone on the same verse, in whatever script they know, at the exact same moment.
Free to try · No app to download · No signup for followers
Hanuman Chalisa · Vishnu Sahasranama · Lalitha Sahasranama · and more. Eight scripts. One verse. Always in sync.
The Problem
Half the room is on verse 12.
The other half is still looking for the page.
Books get lost. PDFs don't keep anyone in sync. The leader can't chant because they're busy telling everyone which stanza comes next. It doesn't have to be this way.

FAQ
Common Questions
ChantWise is a way to bring everyone in your group to the same stanza, on their own phone, in their own script. One person leads the session. Everyone else follows along in real time. It works with texts like the Hanuman Chalisa, Vishnu Sahasranama, and Lalitha Sahasranama. Think of it as a shared prayer book that actually keeps everyone on the same page.
Anyone who chants in a group. Temples use it for daily parayana. Satsang groups use it for weekly sessions. Families use it for evening prayers at home. We've seen student groups on campuses use it for bhajan nights too. If you've ever watched half the room fumbling through pages while the other half waits, this is for you.
Yes, and you can switch between them instantly. Every stotra is available in Sanskrit, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujarati, English IAST, and a simplified phonetic English. The text is already on your device so switching is immediate. One person in your group can follow in Telugu, another in Kannada, and a child can use the simplified English. Everyone stays on the same stanza.
Right now we have the Hanuman Chalisa, Vishnu Sahasranama, Lalitha Sahasranama, Krishna Ashtottara Shatanama Stotram, and Mahalakshmi Ashtakam. All of them are available in every supported language. We add new texts regularly based on what the community asks for. You can suggest one when you sign up.
The leader picks a stotra and starts the session. Everyone else joins by tapping a link or scanning a QR code. No signup, no app download. When the leader moves to the next stanza, every phone in the group updates at the same time. If someone joins late, they land on the current stanza automatically. The leader can also turn on auto-advance so the app keeps pace on its own.
No. It runs in your browser. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, anything. There's nothing to install and nothing to update. If you want, you can add it to your home screen and it feels just like a native app. It barely uses any bandwidth, so it works smoothly even on slow or patchy connections.
Yes. It works over the internet, so your group can be anywhere. Share the link on WhatsApp, and whoever taps it joins the session. We've seen families across three different cities do their evening Hanuman Chalisa together this way. Temples also use it to let remote devotees participate in live parayana.
Books can't keep a group in sync. Everyone turns pages at different speeds, and someone always gets lost or falls behind. With ChantWise, the leader controls the pace and everyone sees the same stanza at the same time. You also don't need to carry anything, you can read in whatever script you're comfortable with, and you save paper too.
It's a way to let ChantWise keep the pace for you. Instead of the leader pressing "Next" after every stanza, the app learns how fast your group chants and moves forward on its own. The leader gets to chant along with everyone else instead of watching the screen. It's available on Community plans and above.
